The Happy Valley Strawberry Festival, which traditionally is held on Memorial Day weekend, has been delayed due to an extremely wet month of May this year. The event will be held on the first and second of June at West Valley High School on Happy Valley Road just north of Gas Point Road. The festival features arts and craft booths, entertainment on multiple stages, horse rides, a huge classic car and tractor show, and lots more. The signature attraction, of course, is the generous servings of strawberries, ice cream, and short cake. They’ll be going through hundreds of pounds of strawberries, thousands of shortcakes and hundreds of gallons of ice cream. As always, admission and parking are free.
