A Cottonwood man is on the run after allegedly assaulting a woman and an 11-month-old boy. According to the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office 33-year-old Anthony Limon hit the woman’s face and head several times and hurt the 11-month-old boy in the process. Officers arrived Monday evening about 11:30PM at the home on Leroy Drive, off of Bowman Road but Limon was not there. Officers say Limon threatened to track down the woman and shoot her to death with his gun, which has already been recovered. Although the woman and the boy are reported to be in good condition, they reportedly suffered moderate to major injuries including bruises and black eyes. Limon is described a Latino man with brown eyes and hair. He is 5 Foot 9 and weighs 150 pounds. He often frequents Leroy Drive and Rhonda Road in Anderson and Cottonwood. He fled in an unknown type vehicle. He faces charges of aggravated assault, domestic violence, child endangerment, and petty theft.
