High ranking local, state and federal fire officials gathered Tuesday to announce together that despite a wet winter, a raging fire season may very well be in the making. Following four years of drought, an abundance of rain can easily lead people to become complacent and forget the destructive power of a wildfire. Information on fire prevention, creating evacuation plans and much more, can be accessed with Cal-Fire’s brand new app, which can be downloaded at readyforwildfire.org.
