Concern is growing about the safety of a missing elderly Yreka man. 79-year-old Trygve “Karl” Larson has a home in a Yreka-area trailer park and is known to go for frequent walks in the country around Yreka. Thursday morning Larson’s family contacted the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office to ask if they could go by and check on Larson because they hadn’t seen or heard from him since Sunday afternoon. Deputies stopped by Larson’s place but he wasn’t there, so the Search and Rescue Team has been looking for him ever since. The search is centered on the Greenhorn Park area. Larson is considered “at risk” for various reasons. He’s a white man, 5’6″, 160 pounds with red hair and hazel eyes. He was wearing blue jeans and a blue denim jacket.
