A young teenage girl missing from Burney has been found safe. The mother of 13-year-old Angelina Rodriguez reported her as a runaway on September 28th after she walked away from an evening event at the Word of Life Church in Burney. No Amber Alert was issued because it wasn’t an abduction. Angelina went voluntarily and it was suspected that she may have run away to Grass Valley or Auburn. That’s where she was found Saturday, at a home in Auburn, and she was immediately reunited with her family. She’ll return home and will be interviewed by the sheriff’s office, which might file charges against the people who helped her run away and concealed her from her family.
