A Redding drug distributor has been taken down, according to the Shasta Interagency Narcotic Task Force, assisted by Redding Police and the Department of Homeland Security. For a long time, agents have been watching the Elizabeth Way home of 36-year-old Stanley Eugene Williams. They reported seeing a high volume of traffic in and out of the house, with some of them identified by Redding Police as Williams’ customers and subordinate dealers. Several of them were intercepted and arrested after leaving the Williams home. Last Wednesday agents waited until Williams was away from home and detained him as a search warrant was served at the house. SINTF reported finding more than two ounces of Heroin, a half ounce of Methamphetamine, 30 pounds of Marijuana, an AK-47 with two high capacity magazines, a sawed-off shotgun with a pistol grip, lots of drug paraphernalia and a fortune in cash. Being a convicted felon, Williams is forbidden from possessing guns. A 26-year-old woman from Hyampom was cited for possession of a small amount of Heroin. Stanley Williams was booked into jail. He was out of custody on bail awaiting court action from an arrest in July for lewd acts with a child.
